About the role

This is a physical, hands-on role based at our concrete sleeper manufacturing site. You’ll be part of the core team involved in the daily process of making our concrete sleepers. This is a casual position with full-time hours, offering steady work for the right person with the potential for long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare sleeper molds with steel reinforcement and release agents

Assist with concrete pours and ensure a smooth, clean finish

Demold and safely flip cured concrete sleepers (requires moderate to heavy lifting)

Clean and reset molds for the next production cycle

(If licensed) Operate a forklift to move and stake completed sleepers

Conduct quality checks to ensure sleepers meet standards

Essential Skills

Experience in concrete, construction, or trades such as carpentry

Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual labor

Reliable, punctual, and committed to high work standards

Hold a valid manual car driver's license

Able to work both independently and as part of a small team

Preferred Experience

Forklift license or relevant experience

A valid heavy rigid truck license

Experience operating machinery such as an excavator or skid steer (bobcat)
