We are looking for a FULL TIME SALES consultant to join our team in our Dandenong South retail store to work 5 days a week (including Saturday)

We are Australia’s longest running heating company – and for the last 149 years we have been supplying heating and cooking into homes throughout Australia.

Our head office is based in North Geelong, with this position being conveniently based at our Dandenong South Retail store with a close, small knit team. We take pride in helping our customers find the ‘right heater for their home’ and will provide you with all the training and resources for you to be able to smash it out of the ballpark!
You can expect your hours to increase over the cooler months, with summer hours allowing you to enjoy the warmer weather. The store does not open on Sundays or Public Holidays with a shutdown period over the Christmas period, your input on your preferred days to work will also be considered as we try to be as accommodating as possible.

The role:

Daily duties include:

In person, showroom sales

Phone consultations and orders

Customer support, troubleshooting and advice

Successfully closing retail sales

Using MYOB and Microsoft Office proficiently

Maintaining an appealing showroom

Meeting individual and team sales targets

Coordinating with external contractors

The Successful Candidate will possess the following attributes;

Adept at building rapport and effective relationships with customers

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Contribute to the sales performance of the store and take ownership

Have a passion for providing excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers.

Able to work half day Saturdays
