Surgical Coordinator – Orthopaedics

About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and personable Surgical Coordinator to join our high-performing orthopaedic team. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll manage phone calls, schedule surgeries and appointments, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced clinical environment. Familiarity with Gentu is a bonus but not essential.

Locations:

Primary Site: Fitzroy (St Vincent’s Private)

Knox Private Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate surgical bookings and theatre lists

Manage incoming calls and patient inquiries

Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments

Support surgeons and practice managers with administrative tasks

Maintain accurate patient records and billing information

About You:

Experience in surgical coordination or medical administration (preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Able to multitask under pressure and work efficiently

A team player with a passion for patient care
