Reporting to: Team Leader or Area Manager.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a part-time position. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to gain/begin valuable work experience in the tobacco and newsagent industry. As a team member, you will assist in various tasks to support our operations and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key performance indicators:

Assist the team leader in ensuring that the store's day-to-day operations are executed in a manner that meets the expectations of the tobacco stations and newsagent.

The maintenance of clean and tidy premises at all times

To follow all company policies and procedures.

To maintain good communication with management, fellow staff, and customers.

To correctly operate point of sale/ computer systems and process paperwork accurately, in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

To assist in the business administration of opening and closing store procedures.

Employees at the level are responsible and accountable for their own work within established routines, methods and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

Driver's License - MUST HAVE Provisional Level (P1) or above is required as you'll be floating between two or more stores.

Customer Service Skills - Ability to provide friendly and helpful service to customers.

Basic Organisational Skills - Capable of maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas.

Basic Computer Skills - Familiarity with using computers for tasks like data entry or operating

Confidence and Resilience - Having the confidence to work un-supervised whilst dealing with a high volume of customers.

Personal Skills:

Positive personality

Proven customer service skills.

Proven attention to detail abilities.

Willingness to accept responsibility.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and actively contribute.

Duties Include:

Customer service and Cash handling.

Completing tasks and targets for the day.

Cleanliness and organization of the store.

Handling lotto and cigarette-related demands from customers.
