Lifestyle Constructions N.Q. Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Architectural Draftsperson who will be responsible for completing the following duties and responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drafting & Design:

· Prepare detailed architectural drawings, cabinetry plans, and blueprints using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

· Develop and modify 2D and 3D models based on client briefs and project specifications.

· Create cabinetry designs that reflect site conditions, spatial constraints, and design intent.

· Prepare and finalize cabinetry plans for production using Cabinet Vision software.

· Regularly update drafting software with the latest hardware and design features.

Client Consultation & Coordination:

· Meet with clients and builders to gather design requirements and provide professional recommendations.

· Present preliminary designs for review and revise them based on client feedback and feasibility.

· Liaise with internal staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and a smooth workflow.

· Collaborate on cabinetry assembly methods and material selections.

Compliance & Documentation:

· Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.

· Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.

· Assist with preparing quotations and pricing based on drafted cabinetry plans.

Site Visits & Project Support:

· Conduct site visits to measure and assess existing conditions for accurate plan development.

· Address any design or implementation discrepancies identified during construction.

· Provide ongoing project support to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Minimum of five years of relevant experience, or five years of experience in the cabinetry industry

· Experience with Cabinet Vision drafting software

· Demonstrated proficiency with Cabinet Vision software

· Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit

· Solid understanding of building codes and compliance regulations

Physical Requirements:

Ability to conduct site visits and perform accurate on-site measurements.

May involve occasional lifting of plans, cabinetry samples, or small tools/equipment.

Comfortable working in workshop, office, and site environments.
