Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist!

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to work independently and make a meaningful impact? This fully remote role gives you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality care to those who need it most.

About Us

IOT is a team of experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and exercise physiologists servicing the Perth Metro area and parts of NSW. We are a well-established and growing NDIS provider, dedicated to delivering participant-centred outcomes.

We take a holistic, capacity-building approach to care, supporting people with disabilities, their families, and support networks through therapy, education, and tailored advice. While this role is based outside our head office and operates independently, you’ll be supported by our responsive admin team and step into an existing caseload of engaged clients.

Whether you're seeking employment or a contractor arrangement, we offer a flexible and supportive work environment that values both autonomy and clinical excellence.

About the Role

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in supporting individuals with diverse abilities to achieve meaningful goals. Working independently across the Perth Metro area, you’ll deliver customised therapy for clients of all ages. Your strong clinical skills, compassionate approach, and commitment to quality care will be central to your success.

We treat the person, not just the symptom, so you’ll be someone who communicates with empathy, builds rapport with ease, and tailors your support to the unique needs of each participant.

About You

You’re confident working independently and managing a diverse caseload. You’re driven by meaningful outcomes and bring a strong understanding of the NDIS. You build trusted relationships with participants and their support networks, and you value efficient systems and a capable admin team.

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration

Proven experience delivering holistic, evidence-based therapy under the NDIS

Background in community and/or rehabilitation settings

Experience prescribing assistive technology and home modifications

Strong time management and administrative skills, with the ability to work autonomously

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A collaborative mindset, even when working remotely

What You’ll Do

Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop goal-oriented plans

Deliver tailored interventions that support client participation and independence

Prescribe assistive technology and environmental modifications

Monitor client progress and adjust plans to optimise outcomes

Educate clients and families on strategies to improve daily living and function

Collaborate with other allied health professionals as needed

Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in line with NDIS requirements

Stay informed on clinical best practices and contribute to a culture of excellence

What’s in It for You?

Flexible working arrangements: full-time, part-time, or contracting options

Fully remote with autonomy to manage your own schedule and workload

Established client base and strong administrative support

CPD allowance up to $1,000 per annum (pro rata) plus training leave

Diverse caseload including clients with spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, sensory impairment, and intellectual disability

Structured clinical supervision and optional mentoring

Competitive remuneration, including funded travel for work-related appointments

A values-driven organisation that supports work-life balance and ongoing professional growth

A short cover letter introducing yourself and highlighting your Occupational Therapy experience
