Cloud Platforms Engineer – 12-Month Contract (via Data#3)

Our client, a high-profile, enterprise-scale organisation, is currently seeking an experienced Cloud Platforms Engineer to join their Cloud Platforms Team on a 12-month engagement via Data#3.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large, forward-thinking environment where your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and development of enterprise-scale Cloud Platforms.

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.

Contribute to infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, and Terraform.

Manage and maintain container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Administer Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Amazon Linux); Windows Server experience is also beneficial.

Support observability tooling including Datadog and Splunk.

Leverage scripting languages such as Python and Bash to automate tasks and streamline operations.

Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience deploying and managing cloud environments at an organisational level in AWS and/or GCP.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Experience with containerisation and orchestration platforms.

Strong Linux system administration skills; familiarity with Microsoft Server is a plus.

Solid experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools.

Excellent communication skills and a strategic, analytical mindset.
