About us:
The Adnulla Nulla service provides a culturally safe and appropriate child and family health service for children from birth to 12 years, parents/carers, and their families. Service scope include:
- Child health clinics for growth and development health assessments
- Hearing and Vision assessments
- Health promotion and health education activities
- Immunisation clinic
- Hearing clinic
- Indigenous school hearing program
- Indigenous paediatrics clinic
About the role:
To advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Parents, Children and young people and their families using a Primary Health Care Model that incorporates a multi-disciplinary, collaborative care planning approach to meet the individual and family needs working with minimal supervision, with full accountabilities and delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide a high standard of care.
About you:
- Possession of a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or working towards the Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
- Experience in, hearing health, child and family health and health promotion would be well regarded but not essential.
- Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $9,530 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $37.87 - $50.54 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
