Bumps and Grinds Café is a small, independently run café located in the front of an automotive touchup shop in the Maroochydore industrial area. We’re looking for a reliable, experienced barista to take full control of the café day-to-day. This is a sole-operator role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and knows how to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality espresso coffee and simple food items

• Manage daily opening and closing of the café

• Provide friendly, consistent customer service

• Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when needed

About You:

• barista experience preferred but not essential

• Confident working solo and managing a small space

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable working in an industrial-style setting with regulars from the workshops and surrounding businesses
