About you:

Small Engine Mechanic experience, or similar role.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Be presentable and approachable.

Ability to work independently.

Qualifications highly regarded.

Forklift licence beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair problems and/or failures in a wide variety of equipment (e.g. mowers, edger's, pumps, compressors, hydraulic rams, sprayers, generators, switches, lights, etc.)

Follow manufacturers service manuals /checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.

Clean, sharpen, and lubricate a variety of motorised equipment (e.g. reel mowers, blades, hedge trimmer, edger's, trimmers, etc.)

Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components.

Reassemble and test repaired engines and components.

Ensure units are operating safely and correctly.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, blade sharpening, and engine tune-ups.

Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure that the equipment is fully functioning and available for delivery.

Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts.

Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts.
