About the role

Met Services Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter/Mechanic to join our team in Murarrie, Queensland. This full-time position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will be an integral part of our company's commitment to providing high-quality electrical services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Performing installation, maintenance and repair work on a variety of electrical systems and equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues to identify and resolve problems

Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics and other technical documents

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Collaborating with the broader team to share knowledge and best practices

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with a current Australian licence

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic in a commercial, industrial, or marine setting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills
