Opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a growing firm in the CBD with the following responsibilities:

• Be the lead in executing month-end and year-end reports, including month end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation) and preparing workpapers
• Prepare monthly payroll journals, including annual leave and long- service leave accrual.
• Intercompany journals & reconciliations
• Maintaining the General Ledger and Balance sheet reconciliations - All monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with the year end audit process for the Group.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Assist in the production of BAS, FBT, PRT returns.
• Assist with banking and treasury function.
• Ad-hoc projects as required
• Ensure Group policies and procedures are adhered to by each business unit.
• Drive continuous process improvement.

Provide commercial, financial and decision support to key internal stakeholders.
