Bookkeeper – Part-Time | Central Coast

Due to continued growth and a solid pipeline of work, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bookkeeper to join our friendly team.

About the Role

As our Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in overseeing our day-to-day financial operations. You’ll ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, compliant, and aligned with our project-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations

Maintain up-to-date records of project costs, job variations, and retentions

Liaise with our external accountant on BAS, superannuation, and other compliance requirements

Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and job costing

Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting

Use Xero and similar accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Cheops)

About You

You’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working independently and contributing to a small, supportive team.

You will have:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, including payroll (STP), BAS/IAS, superannuation, and payroll tax

High proficiency with Xero

Strong time management skills and a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
