Are you a dedicated, passionate case worker with experience in providing holistic trauma informed care on an outreach basis?
Want to make a real difference by supporting women impacted by the criminal justice system experiencing homelessness?
CRC is excited to be recruiting for our team of dedicated professionals working to help change women’s lives, and we’d love to hear from you!

• Play a key part in our program and contribute to long-lasting change for our clients and the community
• Join a diverse and passionate team in a flexible and supportive organisation. We want to hear from people from all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of the criminal justice system. The skills and experiences of First Nations people will be particularly valued.

The Opportunity
As a Transition Worker in our Inner-City Women’s Transitional Service, you’ll be at the heart of a high-impact team. Supported by a program manager and teammates, you’ll use holistic case management to provide specialist case management support for women who are impacted by the criminal justice system and homelessness. Using a throughcare model you will provide a continuum of support to address the complex and diverse needs of women who have experienced involvement with the criminal justice system. Your role will include outreach support both pre and post release, including practical and psychosocial supports, creating community connections and participate in supporting other relevant CRC projects. Your usual work hours will be Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours work, as required. Why work for us? CRC is committed to supporting people who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. We work with some of the state’s most stigmatised and marginalised people, and we provide them with the help they need. While our work can sometimes be challenging, the rewards are significant.

To join us, you’ll need:
· To identify as female
· Experience and skills in the provision of trauma-informed care
· Knowledge and experience of working with women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with complex needs including mental illness, cognitive impairment, AOD substance misuse/recovery, and challenging behaviours
· A current NSW Driver Licence
· A current NSW Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check (please note, a criminal record is not a barrier to being considered for a role with CRC)
· Demonstrated cultural competency and knowledge of issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other diverse communities
· Knowledge and skills relating to current child protection issues and legislation
· The unrestricted right to work in Australia

How to apply:
CRC considers being a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for this position as specified under section 31h of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). We are committed to achieving a diverse and culturally safe workforce and strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.

Do you have the skills, positivity and work ethic to match our amazing team? APPLY NOW!
