About the role

Ladybug Therapeutic Collective is seeking a Behavioural Practitioner to join our team in ACT. This is a contract position, offering flexible work arrangements to support our clients' needs. As a Behavioural Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based behavioural interventions and support to individuals and families within our dynamic, multidisciplinary practice.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and building rapport with the client

Developing and implementing individualised behaviour support plans

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families, and support networks to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to client care

Maintaining detailed client records, progress notes, and data to monitor and report on client outcomes

Participating in regular team meetings, professional development, and clinical supervision to enhance your practice

What we're looking for

A tertiary qualification in psychology, social worker, counsellor, or a related field, with a strong background in applied behaviour analysis

Demonstrated experience providing behaviour support and therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or complex behaviours

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to effectively manage complex client cases

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in the field

Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. Australian Psychological Society, Australian Association of Social Workers) is highly desirable
