We are looking for qualified Machanical Fitters to start work for us as soon as possible.

Job description

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime

Consistent and ongoing work!

Travel allowance daily

Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)

Fast labour Hire have multiple roles available for EXPERIENCED & RELIABLE FITTERS. These are immediate start positions in Brisbane if you meet our criteria. You could be working next week.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL NEED

A proven background in assembleing machinery and equipment following the specifications

The ability to work independently and respond promptly to requests

The ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship without supervision

Perform all duties to a high standard

Be able to work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks and manage a high volume workload

Interpret technical drawings and specifications of machines and equipment

Perform quality checks to ensure machinery is working optimally

Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Diagnose faults in machinery or equipment and determine necessary repairs

Communicate with other team members and supervisors about machinery performance and maintenance issues

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a Fitter

Excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

Experience with power tools and hand tools

Strong attention to detail

Good communication and team working skills
