Job Overview:
We are seeking Road Sweeper Operators to safely operate and maintain our road sweeping equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean road surfaces, ensuring proper water distribution for dust control, and performing general road maintenance duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate road sweeper equipment to clean roads, pavements, and public areas

Maintain and clean machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor and report on equipment performance, reporting any faults or issues to supervisors.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards while operating machinery.

Conduct pre-operation checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

Work in accordance with environmental and operational guidelines to minimize disruption to traffic flow and the surrounding community.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles, reporting major issues when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid MR or HR license essential.

Proven experience operating road sweepers in a similar role is highly desirable.

Ability to perform manual labor and work in all weather conditions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to them.

Ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Basic mechanical skills and experience with vehicle maintenance is desirable.
