About the role

Advance Steel Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Boat Fabricator to join our team in Salisbury, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a key role in the production and fabrication of high-quality aluminium boats.

What you'll be doing

Fabricating and assembling aluminium boat components and structures according to detailed specifications

Operating a range of metalworking equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools

Interpreting technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate and precise fabrication

Performing quality checks at various stages of the fabrication process

Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of workmanship

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience as an aluminium fabricator, preferably in the marine or boat-building industry.

- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong understanding of aluminium properties.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Marine industry experience is a plus but not essential.
