About the role

We are seeking a motivated 2nd to 4th year electrical apprentice to join our small team at SH Electrical Group PTY LTD in Sydney, NSW. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the delivery of high-quality electrical services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time role with the potential for long-term career development.

We are also on the lookout for a newly qualified electrician or a confident 4th year who is soon to be qualified. All job training will be provided

What you'll be doing

Assisting senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Work is mainly located in the Inner West, Sydney. The work is predominately residential maintenance/repair work & occasional testing and tagging at local public schools

Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to work performed

Continuously learning and developing your skills under the guidance of seasoned electricians

Lighting maintenance, appliance installation, basic fixture installation, conduit installation, fault finding and more

What we're looking for

Currently enrolled in TAFE

Strong interest and aptitude for electrical work

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Good physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet

Willingness to learn and a commitment to safety

Effective communication and interpersonal skill

Drivers licence, ability to drive a manual van

Able to get to the office every morning at Chester Hill

Someone who is interested in learning the work, getting qualified and becoming a mobile electrician
