Position Description: Warehouse & Fulfillment Lead – Dakine & Xcel wetsuits- Topanga Distrbituion

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for leading and owning the entire warehouse and fulfillment function of the business. The Warehouse & Fulfillment Lead ensures efficient and accurate inventory management, timely dispatch of e-commerce and wholesale orders, and high operational standards within the warehouse.

We aim to make our fulfillment function a competitive advantage — delivering industry-leading speed, accuracy, and presentation. This role is critical to ensuring we are seen as one of the best suppliers in the industry, known for reliability, responsiveness, and execution.

As we are a small team and a growing business, from time to time other tasks may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

- Own and manage all inbound and outbound freight operations
- Pick, pack, and dispatch wholesale and e-commerce orders with speed and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
- Lead ongoing improvements to warehouse layout, efficiency, and flow
- Manage returns, warranty items, and faulty goods processing
- Monitor and control freight and courier costs, with the goal of keeping total freight costs under 4% of sales

Inventory & Systems

- Accurately manage inventory using internal warehouse systems (e.g. Cin7, Shopify)
- Perform regular cycle counts and full stocktakes
- Reconcile stock variances and implement accuracy improvements
- Coordinate receiving of containers
