Occupational Hygienist /Environmental Consultant/Asbestos Assessor

​EnviroX Consulting is looking to expand our rapidly growing team and we are currently seeking an Occupational Hygienist/Environmental Consultant/Asbestos Assessor. We are open to candidates from a graduate level up to two years of experience.

Duties

Provide occupational hygiene and environmental services to our clients in the field,

Field observations and risk assessments

Hazardous material inspections (Asbestos and Lead)

Indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring

Asbestos clearance / inspections / Air Monitoring / Bubble smoke tests / experience to become a Licensed Asbestos Asessor

Microbiological Inspections and PRV Post Remediation Verifications

Soil sampling, VNM reports, ENM Reports and waste classifications / PSI and DSI experience working under an experienced consultant

Preparation of technical reports and hazardous management plans

Preparation of high-quality reports.

Respiratory Fitness Testing (Portacount)

About you

Hold a current driver's licence - MUST as driving is very essential to being a consultant

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

Excellent organisational and time management skills,

Ability to learn quickly and grow within the role,

Able to work independently,

Flexibility in work hours and locations

Physically able to conduct soil sampling and sampling collecting

Weekend works

Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline (IE Bachelor of science or industrial hygiene),

Current General Induction "White Card" for Construction Work - preferred but very easy to get
