Are you a passionate and proactive Nurse Unit Manager ready to lead a boutique endoscopy unit with a high standard of patient care?

We are currently seeking an energetic and hands-on NUM to join our team at Smithfield Endoscopy Centre, a modern, single-treater facility operating two days a week. This role is ideal for someone looking for either a full-time or part-time position with flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape the service.

About the Role:

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the unit, including:

Leading and supporting the nursing team

Coordinating staff rosters and schedules

Managing clinical supplies and equipment orders

Overseeing billing processes and liaising with specialists and admin support

Ensuring compliance with infection control and accreditation standards

Providing high-quality patient care in a welcoming environment

You will work closely with our specialists and anaesthetists to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred endoscopy services.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Previous day surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative experience

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach

Confidence in managing billing systems and stock logistics (training available)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
