Zoot Scooters is Australia’s quickest growing and most popular scooter brand. South Australian owned and operated. We are direct importers and the manufacturer, of 125cc Scooters & 50cc Mopeds. We have two bricks and mortar outlets in Adelaide, a Brisbane store, and distributors across Western Australia.

We are looking for a technician to service and repair mopeds and scooters. This position is on a casual basis and would suit someone recently retired or wanting a flexible working environment. Hours are flexible and will change week to week depending on workload. Male, Female, old or young, it doesn’t’ matter to us, if you have the right attitude and experience, we want to hear what you have to offer.

Pre-requisites

Current Motorcycle license

Qualification; Motor Mechanic, Motorcycle Mechanic, Small Engine Specialist

Experience working with small 2 stroke and 4 stroke petrol engines is essential

Good attitude and team first personality

Understanding of electrical circuitry and trouble shooting

Ability to liase with customers and help out in the showroom

Customer service front of mind

Reliability and honesty

Responsibilities

Servicing and repairing Mopeds and Scooters

Preparing new Scooters for delivery

Assembling PKD Scooters from containers

Picking up Scooters for service or repair (our company vehicle)

Deliver new Scooters to customers

Costing of repairs and services (dealership software ERA, training provided)

Workshop parts interpretation and sales
