Tealec Electrical Solutions is seeking a qualified and skilled individual to join their team as an Electrician. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, Tealec is seeking a full-time electrician to join and support our team.

This role will provide the successful candidate autonomy to utilise their trade skills and creative expertise in a variety of environments encompassing residential, commercial, industrial and construction works. This dynamic mix of fault finding and repairs, supported with installation and project works provides an ideal balance for an electrician that enjoys variety and responsibility in their work day.

Locations are predominantly allocated across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley.

The Role

· Assist with the monitoring, operation, proactive and reactive maintenance of our clients assets

· Identification and repair of electrical faults

· Residential and commercial installation, repairs, and maintenance

· Industrial projects and installation in a variety of heavy industrial and rail settings

· Safe, effective, quality delivery of electrical solutions aligned with the values and risk appetite of the company and that of our customers

The Requirements

Mandatory

· Electrical Trade qualification

· Effective communication skills and sound decision-making skills

· NSW driver’s licence

· Clear NSW Police check

· Demonstrated experience in a similar electrical role

· Demonstrable fault finding and problem-solving abilities

· Excellent customer service and communication

Desired

· Rail Industry Experience (RIW Card, Cat 3 Medical)

· Working at Heights and other high risk work qualifications

· Previous experience in heavy industry or rail

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
