Venues & Locations:
Our event venue is situated on Sydney Harbour's stunning waterfront, and includes a café, restaurant, and 3 high-volume event spaces with contemporary and innovative menus.

Our Production Kitchen is located in Marrickville (2204), just a few minutes' walk from the train station. This kitchen produces all the food for our events in our city venue, as well as supporting the Café and restaurant production. Here we produce different menus and cuisines, using the freshest ingredients and technical skills that help develop and grow our team.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Casual Back of House Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join our dynamic production and event teams. Main duties include:

• Produce high quality food as per menu/recipe, using all types of cooking techniques. You’ll get great experience and training producing fine dining menu items as well as serving high end events.
• Adhere to high levels of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work as a team to produce high volumes of food on a daily basis.
• Monday to Sunday shifts available
• For kitchen hands, duties mainly involve keeping the kitchen clean, assist with deliveries, food prep/ service and transferring goods around the building.
• Restaurant/café service, functions and events, weddings, conferences, high bulk production.
• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in our production kitchens and at various venues.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service delivery
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Contributing to menu development and daily operations.

Skills/Experience required:

• We are looking for chefs of all specialties.
• Focusing on Production chefs, event chefs and restaurant chefs.
• History of Chef/cooking experience for chef roles is a must.
• High attention to detail, to maintain quality standards.
• Knowledge of food allergies and food labelling requirements.
• Hard working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in different teams.
• Good communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and positive.
• Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to different settings.
• Flexibility to work across different shifts and venues.
