About the role

Precision Mine Contracting is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our team in Malaga, Western Australia. This full-time role will play a crucial part in the continued growth of our switchboard manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

Manufacture and assembly of switchboards for mine sites - particularly UG mines

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement appropriate solutions

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Liaise with apprentices and other tradespeople to coordinate projects

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical work performed

Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing systems and processes

What we're looking for

A valid A Grade Electrician license and several years of hands-on experience panel wiring or similar

Ability to interpret wiring schematics and drawings

Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety procedures

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Good communication and documentation skills
