We are a local, family owned construction business in Townsville that builds and renovates residential (mainly) and commercial properties solely for the private owners of the business. The properties are located in Yarrawonga, North Ward and Townsville's CBD and construction is high-end using the best materials.

The successful applicant will never have to deal with difficult property owners again. Decisions can be made immediately with no need to prepare a variation.

Your role

We are seeking an experienced carpenter/site supervisor/foreman to work hands-on with, and lead, a small team to carry out the construction work, and to co-ordinate all on-site contractors, suppliers and material deliveries in conjunction with the business owners.

To be considered for this position you will need:

a minimum of 5 years' practical experience in residential or commercial construction

ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

trade qualification and construction white card

understanding of Building Code compliance and construction methodology

strong understanding of WHS procedures

drivers licence

tools and own transport

ability to train and assist an apprentice
