🔨 About the Role

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll run commercial and residential landscaping projects from start to finish, whether it’s a school playground, community space, or a high-spec backyard.

You’ll lead a small team of apprentices and landscapers while staying actively involved in the work, setting the pace, and ensuring exceptional results are delivered on time.

🌿 Your Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver landscape construction projects end-to-end

Work on the tools daily, leading by example in all aspects of construction

Supervise, train, and motivate apprentices and crew members

Interpret and execute landscape plans and technical drawings

Perform hard and soft landscaping including:

Retaining walls, paving, concreting, decking

Turfing, planting, irrigation, and playground installations

Maintain a safe, efficient, and tidy work site at all times

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and site managers as needed

✅ What You Bring

Minimum 4+ years of experience in landscape construction

Proven ability to supervise and mentor a small team

A strong work ethic and willingness to work hands-on, every day

Great communication and time management skills

White Card and current Driver’s Licence

Physically fit and capable of outdoor manual work

Machinery tickets (excavator/skid steer) highly regarded

A reliable, down-to-earth attitude and pride in quality workmanship

💼 What You’ll Get

$40–$45 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Superannuation + overtime + performance bonuses

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (optional Saturdays)

Work vehicle provided from our Tullamarine depot
