The Director of Senior Phase plays a significant role in leading the academic and strategic direction of senior school. As the Principal's delegate, the successful candidate will oversee and lead quality assurance processes in alignment with Years 11 and 12 requirements for QCAA. Reporting to the Head of Teaching and Learning, this is a significant leadership position in the College which includes an appropriate teaching component. Candidates with experience in timetabling and a working knowledge of Timetabler will be highly regarded.

This position is Full-Time and begins 01 January 2026.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Current experience with the QCE and QCAA syllabi and systems

Demonstrated Christian character and the ability to inspire others

Excellent leadership and time management skills, including the ability to cope with competing demands under pressure and work autonomously

Diplomatic and skilled verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead innovatively and influence outcomes

Commitment to the provision of quality customer service when interacting with parents and the wider community

Proven capability supporting teachers in their pedagogical practices and delivery of programs

Demonstrated teaching expertise and commitment to excellence

Expert knowledge of curriculum documents and legislative requirements

Ability to understand the role of technology in delivering teaching and learning objectives and the contemporary use of technology in Education

Demonstrated achievement in planning, teaching, assessing and reporting

Ability to develop, write and edit reports, policy documents, guidelines and handbooks

Education/Certification

Bachelor of Teaching or Education

Queensland College of Teachers Registration

Current First Aid and CPR certificate
