The Role
The Principal works in close collaboration with Council leaders and key internal stakeholders to ensure they understand and fulfil their responsibilities in relation to communications deliverables. This strategic alignment supports a consistent and impactful messaging approach. Delivering high-quality, value-added service to stakeholders will be a core focus, ensuring all communications are professional, timely, and consistent across all platforms. This includes distributing Council communications through the most relevant and effective channels to maximise reach and impact.
About You
You are a qualified finance professional with a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, supported by extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in financial management.
You bring advanced financial management skills, including experience in preparing financial statements, managing audits, and undertaking long-term financial modelling. You have a proven ability to implement modern business systems within a medium-sized organisation, focusing on improving efficiency and service delivery.
You are an experienced leader with a track record of managing teams and resources in complex environments, consistently delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Importantly, you have demonstrated success in leading organisational change through effective systems and change management practices.
