About the Role
As a valued member of the Urology Unit, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Unit and senior consultant staff, gaining hands-on experience and expert support in a collaborative clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your clinical knowledge and surgical skills while maintaining active and professional relationships with consultant colleagues.
You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care, education, and innovation. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to the supervision and teaching of junior doctors and medical students, and have the opportunity to initiate and develop research projects—making a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and the future of urological practice.
About You
You are a dedicated and professional medical practitioner with a strong foundation in urology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and manage clinical responsibilities makes you a valuable addition to any team.
Hold an MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for AHPRA registration
Demonstrated clinical skills in general, open, and endoscopic urological surgery
Strong communication, negotiation, and complaint resolution skills
Sound knowledge of hospital systems, policies, and multidisciplinary care structures
