About the role
SA Pathology is offering an exciting opportunity for a Registrar to enter or continue their journey within the Immunopathology training program, ultimately leading to Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA). In this role, you will work closely under expert supervision, contributing to the delivery of diagnostic services and expanding your clinical insight in a dynamic, team-focused environment. You'll play an active part in improving patient outcomes while gaining invaluable experience in a highly specialised area of medicine.
Your training will encompass undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, fostering your growth through teaching opportunities, clinico-pathological review of cases, and independent study. You will also be encouraged to contribute to research initiatives aimed at advancing immunopathological understanding. About You
You’re a dedicated medical professional with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and a passion for advancing expertise in immunopathology. Your qualifications and experience position you to thrive in a collaborative, research-focused training environment.
Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, and are registered with the Medical Board of Australia with General Registration.
Have completed RACP Basic Physician Training (BPT) and are eligible to enrol in RACP/RCPA Advanced Training in Adult or Paediatric Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology.
Demonstrate prior experience in Clinical Medicine, supported by sound knowledge of General Medicine or General Paediatrics.
Excel in communication and teamwork, contributing effectively to multidisciplinary environments and delivering high-quality patient care.
