We are looking for someone to take over from an experienced tutor. You would be working with existing primary age students on a 1:1 basis who may have learning difficulties. These students are placed on a set program which follows a sequential order. This position requires you to work from potentially Monday to Fridays, starting the 1st September.

We would require you to familiarise yourself with the provided programs. There is minimal preparation required once you are familiar with the programs.

While all programs are structured and sequential, making preparation time easy, a love of children and a genuine care for their development is crucial.

We have 2 premises and you may be required to work in either the North or South location.

This position would suit a retired or semi-retired learning support teacher, anybody with special education training or prior experience tutoring using an explicit teaching model.

Preference will be given to candidates who have MSL or SPELD training, and /or experience teaching or working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
