Are you passionate about creating welcoming spaces, connecting people with the right supports, and making a positive impact in your local community?
We’re looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to join our team working across Family by Family, Bfriend, and other community-based services. You’ll be the first point of contact for people accessing support, and a vital part of our day-to-day program delivery and admin coordination. This 6-month contract, with potential for extension is a permanent part time role – 3 days/week.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the friendly face and voice that greets clients, visitors, and stakeholders
- Provide accurate information and referrals for Family by Family, Bfriend, and related services
- Book appointments, manage intake and session scheduling, and maintain client records
- Support teams with reception, admin, and office coordination duties
- Assist with key tasks such as reporting, room bookings, and project/event support
- Help ensure safety and smooth day-to-day operations, including emergency response protocols when needed
What You’ll Bring:
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people from all walks of life
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Previous experience in a front desk, admin or client-facing role
- Experience or understanding of trauma-informed practice is a plus
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to support across metro sites when required
