The Opportunity
Join a dynamic team delivering meaningful insights that shape service delivery and improve outcomes. On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for APS5 and APS6 Business Analysts to join the team focused on performance reporting, data modelling and continuous improvement. This is a 12 month assignment and can be based in Brisbane, Robina, Newcastle, Wollongong, Richmond or Geelong (with hybrid work arrangements available).
Key responsibilities include;
- Extracting, analysing and presenting data using Excel, SAS and Salesforce to support reporting and projection activities
- Building, refining and maintaining complex forecast and projection models
- Produce forecasting reports, data visualisations and operational insights to support strategic planning
- Interpret performance trends in the context of business operations
- Apply statistical modelling to support forecasting and performance monitoring
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate;
- Strong expertise in MS Excel (including Power Query, Pivot Tables and Advanced Formulas)
- Sound knowledge of forecasting and statistical modelling methods
- Experience working with SAS data libraries and reporting tools
- Ability to connect data insights with business and performance outcomes
- Experience with Salesforce analytical tools or BI reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
