This represents an incredibly rare opportunity with an accounting firm with multiple office locations throughout the East Coast. This firm has been in operation for many years and are well poised to grow rapidly due to their strong network nationally.

The firm offers their clients services ranging from tax compliance, advisory, SMSFs, bookkeeping and financial planning.

POSITION

Due to internal restructuring, the position of Managing Partner has been created.

Reporting to the board, this role will involve the following:

• Define and execute the firm's vision, mission and long term goals
• Manage the day to day operations of the firm across multiple locations
• Work closely with the Principals of each office location to identify areas for improvement and to implement changes as necessary
• Manage the firm's P&L to increase profitability by overseeing financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Identify and implement new learning and development strategies to maximise the potential of each staff member
• Develop strategies to retain and attract top talent

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Degree Qualified
• 15+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
• 5+ years experience as a Partner/Director with hands on experience managing the day to day operations of a busy firm that has multiple locations
• Ability to travel regularly amongst multiple locations (NSW and QLD)
• Demonstrated ability to implement new systems and processes
• Demonstrated ability to increase profitability
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation

Please note that this role will only consider Australian Public Practice experience.
