What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll work across a variety of projects, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality consulting outcomes:
· Conduct tree risk assessments using TRAQ, QTRA, and VALID methodologies.
· Use advanced diagnostic tools including PiCUS tomography and IML-RESI Power Drill.
· Oversee aerial inspections and non-invasive root mapping with AirSpade.
· Deliver tree health care treatments such as soil aeration with our VOGT Soil Aerator, tree injections, canopy spraying, and soil drenching.
· Prepare clear, evidence-based arborist reports and management plans using TreePlotter and other tools.
· Collaborate with clients to provide practical and innovative tree care recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
· Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF5) or higher (or currently enrolled)
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a consulting arborist role (desirable)
· Strong knowledge of tree biology, Visual Tree Assessment (VTA), species identification, and remedial works
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Willingness to travel for project work
· Desirable: QTRA, VALID, and/or TRAQ qualifications
· Desirable: Knowledge of GIS software such as QGIS
