About the role
An exciting opportunity awaits personal care workers to join the team.
As a personal care worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, transportation and promote independence for our older persons.
Personal care workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons.
About you
To be successful you must:
- previous experience working in aged care or personal care (desirable)
- ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- be able to follow policies and procedures at all times
- be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
Role requirements
- certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care/ Aged Care/ Health Care/Services assistant, Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
- a roadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured car
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' certificate
- current immunisation history statement
