Role: Personal Care Assistant / Disability Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate support workers with community-based and/or aged care experience. Clients like routine and get comfort out of seeing the same people at the same time, so you will be assigned specific clients, and providing the services at the same time either on a weekly or fortnightly rotation. Reliability is KEY.

We are looking for staff for overnight care for clients in the Bundaberg region, with shifts varying all day long, 7 days a week.

You must be available for this overnight care for a minimum of 2-3 days a week.

Looking for Active - Overnight care

Evening routine support (preparing for bed)

Medication reminders

Overnight toileting assistance

Fall prevention and monitoring

Emotional companionship

Morning care (personal hygiene, fresh clothing, breakfast preparation)

Documentation and reporting of any behavioral or health changes

Meal preparation and food handling

Driver’s License & Car is a mandatory requirement

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A Certificate III, IV or higher qualification in Aged Care/Disability

A current Police Check

A current First Aid and CPR

NDIS Screening Check

A valid driver’s license

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
