About the role

Kondalilla Eco Resort is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant FOH Team Leader to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a casual role, this position will be responsible for helping guide and support the front-of-house team in providing world class customer service to our guests. The role is based at our beautiful resort located in Flaxton, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant's front-of-house team

Ensuring high standards of service, presentation and hygiene are maintained

Support with leadership, training and mentoring for the front-of-house staff

Assisting with customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints

Monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed

Supporting the restaurant manager with administrative tasks

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Proven minimum 3 years experience in a similar restaurant FOH team leader role

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a high-quality guest experience

Proficient in using point-of-sale systems like Impos and other hospitality technology

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
