About The Role

This role is an integral part of our team. You have to have the ability to work with other staff members, work unsupervised and time manage jobs. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld aluminium and steel fencing components (gates, panels, posts, brackets)

Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications

Operate power tools and fabrication machinery (grinders, bandsaws, drill presses etc)

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish

Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas

Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and occasional site installations as needed

Follow company safety procedures and report any hazards or issues.

Skills and experience

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator (minimum 4 years preferred)

Competency in MIG and TIG welding

Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and cut lists

Familiar with common workshop tools and machinery

Able to work independently, as part of a team, and manage multiple jobs

Attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Forklift ticket and driver's license advantageous

Ability to work quickly, concisely and accurately
