About the role

Ironbar Saloon is seeking a talented and experienced Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant team in Port Douglas, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements, with the potential for career development. You will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing outstanding customer service to our discerning clientele.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a wide range of classic and signature cocktails to the highest standard

Ensuring the bar is stocked, clean, and well-organised at all times

Providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations

Collaborating with the bartending team to introduce new menu items and improve bar operations

Assisting with inventory and recording of stock as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Cocktail Bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment

Excellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and flavour profiles

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, professional, and engaging experience for guests

Familiarity with bar equipment and the ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
