ABOUT THE PURPLE PUB in the outback of Australia

We are located at Normanton, which is 700 km west of Cairns and 70 km east of the fishing town of Karumba. We are accessible by sealed road for the car or bus and a regular plane service.

We have pokies, keno, tab, motel units with a swimming pool, bistro and the largest drive thru liquor barn in the north west.

We are a family pub with pool competitions, karaoke on a friday night and barramundi fishing on the weekends.

Normanton has the annual rodeo and barramundi fishing competition.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

At least 5 years experience in motel and hotel cleaning.

Worked in a remote location would be an advantage.

Be able to work and live with other staff members in a family atmosphere.

In the motel units, make the beds in each unit, clean the bathrooms, clean the tv, fridge and mop the floors.

Do the laundry for the motel and hotel

Do the daily cleaning of the hotel

Monitor supplies for the motel units and hote

Help in the other areas of trhe hotel if required.
