Our client is one of Australia's leading suppliers of auto-parts, sold to panel beaters & mechanical workshops all over the country. They've been in business for over 25 years, and have established a customer base of over 5,000 accounts Australia-wide.
- Mechanical: Air intakes, brake, climate, steering and cooling

- Door Parts, Bumper bar parts, body and panel
- Fuel tanks
- Mirrors
- Wipers
All of their parts are manufactured in-house following the strictest quality standards and have been well received by Mechanics and other automotive trades since (i) they are very competitive on price (ii) the quality is just as good (in some cases better) than parts supplied by the OEM and (iii) the service is top quality and a large reason why their repeat business is so strong.
OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will be responsible for growing market share and increasing revenue across Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to strengthen our competitive position. Key duties include:
- Research and analyse the market to uncover potential business opportunities and client prospects across WA, SA, and NT
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive business growth and expand the customer base
- Engage in proactive outreach to secure new clients, utilising methods such as networking, referrals, and direct engagement
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and business retention
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline sales processes, address customer concerns, and enhance service delivery
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to build brand awareness and establish key industry connections
- Provide regular insights on sales performance, emerging trends, and market activity to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making

CANDIDATE
In order to be considered for this role you have existing business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in the automotive sector; if you've sold to automotive merchant resellers, distributors, mechanical works, panel beaters that would be great. Products you might have previously sold include; passenger vehicles, buses, truck parts, trailers, transport equipment, engine parts, vehicle body parts, tyres, oils, fluids, filtration, batteries, lighting, audio, auto-electrical, wiring, rims, wheels, panels, interior parts and connectors (just to name a few).
