About the role

Diamond Air and Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Narangba, Queensland. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the electrical work carried out by our team of qualified electricians. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing organisation dedicated to providing high-quality air conditioning and energy solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand job requirements and manage customer expectations
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including air conditioning, lighting, and power distribution
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and industry best practices
• Monitor and report on team performance, providing feedback and guidance to enhance productivity and skill development
• Assist with the planning and scheduling of work to optimise resource allocation and project timelines
• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of electrical policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and a deep understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and mentor a team
• Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating and overseeing the work of multiple electricians and subcontractors
• Working knowledge of relevant compliance and reporting requirements
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
