Findon Technical College is co-located with Findon High School and offers three industry training programs including Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Early Childhood & Education and Health & Social Support, which will support students in years 10 to 12 to complete their SACE while undertaking vocational education and training (VET) in state-of-the-art specialist facilities.

About the Role
We’re looking for teachers who:
Are passionate about supporting all learners to develop and grow their literacy & numeracy skills that aligns to student pathways
Have an ability to work in collaboration with teachers, RTOs, Universities and Employers to plan and develop innovative and contextualised literacy & numeracy programs to meet industry needs
Have experience in developing programs utilising student agency and be able to support learners requiring additional support and stretch in their learning
Have an understanding of PBL or other innovative methodologies to engage students and support high level outcomes
Can plan, develop and implement innovative literacy and numeracy opportunities aligned to student pathways
Have a deep understanding of SACE Literacy or Numeracy requirements and the flexibilities afforded through the subject outlines
What you’ll need
Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families and colleagues
Relevant experience in either of the following industries is desirable Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Early Childhood & Education and Health & Social Support
