We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to carry out maintenance and repair work across a range of plant and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and values time off to recharge.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, minimising downtime, and supporting the overall efficiency of site operations. You’ll also be part of a team that upholds a strong safety culture and takes pride in quality work.

Competitive base salary of $100K–$105K + super

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs

Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment, utilities, and infrastructure

Respond to maintenance issues efficiently and effectively

Identify unsafe conditions or faulty equipment and recommend practical solutions

Maintain accurate service and repair records

Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and site safety standards

What You’ll Bring

Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Australian-recognised)

Previous experience in maintenance or fixed plant environments

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

A proactive approach to safety and problem-solving

Ability to work day and night shifts on a 7/7 rotation

FIFO or DIDO availability
