Matthew Thomas is a well-established food service operator and homewares and decor retailer, and we are looking for hospitality professionals at our Sandgate and Aspley locations.

We are seeking reliable, smart, well presented, fast-working people that have the capacity to highly function in a fast-paced environment.

We need happy people to build meaningful relationships with our customers.

Prerequisites:

1 year + hospitality, food preparation or cafe/restaurant experience

1 year + barista experience - specialty coffee an advantage

Available to work a minimum of two weekday shifts and one weekend shift

Live within 30 minutes of either of our venues and have your own transport

A stable resume with professional references

RSA Certificate

You must be:

Well-groomed and presented, and detail-orientated

Cheerful and enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude

Physically fit & disciplined

Emotionally stable

Easy to manage, humble and a team-player

Focused and able to perform well under pressure

A good verbal communicator and a quick learner

Fluent in English

Able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week

Desirable but not essential:

Table-service experience
