About the role
RaptorTech is seeking a talented Software Engineer - Unity - Operational Support & Visualization to join our dynamic team in Belmont, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening our operational team by addressing visualization-related issues in our fleet management solutions. Your contributions will drive the delivery of innovative, high-quality software and exceptional user experiences for our clients.
What you'll be doing
Design, develop, and maintain Unity-based applications, with a primary focus on enhancing our fleet management solution.
Streamline and optimize the bug resolution process to ensure efficient and high-quality software delivery.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to rigorous standards for quality, performance, and security.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, high-quality error reports and detailed software requirements.
Keep abreast of the latest Unity features, industry best practices, and emerging trends to drive continuous improvement in our solutions.
What we're looking for
Proven experience (2+ years) as a software engineer, with deep expertise in Unity development.
Strong proficiency in C# and Unity’s core systems, with a track record of building professional-grade Unity applications.
In-depth knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and best practices for creating scalable, robust, and maintainable software.
Experience with agile software development methodologies and associated tools.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a creative approach to tackling complex technical challenges.
Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams.
