Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified OSHC Educators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework, and experience in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that meet the diverse needs of school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and interact positively with children to support their social, emotional, and physical development.

Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in the program.

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.

Comply with all policies and procedures, including child protection, WHS, and behaviour guidance strategies.

Contribute to a collaborative team culture that promotes continuous improvement and professional development.

Maintain accurate documentation, including daily attendance records and incident reports.

You may be asked to contribute to the service via paid admin time, to build on the ideas or quality of the service.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum qualification: Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Education Support, or equivalent (as per ACECQA requirements for OSHC educators). Including people who have completed two years of a OSHC relevant degree.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for South Australia.

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management training (HLTAID012 or equivalent).

Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place (MTOP).

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to child safety and upholding the values of diversity and inclusion.
